Project Engineer
Duties

 

  • Manage the end-to-end execution of security systems projects, from initial planning and design through to installation, commissioning, and handover.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather project requirements and specifications.
  • Develop detailed project plans, site- surveys, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and cost constraints.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform system integration and configuration, including testing and troubleshooting, to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users on installed systems.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reports, including as-built drawings and project documentation.

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., PE, PMP) are a plus.
  • Proven experience in the design, installation, and commissioning of security systems, with a focus on CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to security systems and electronic security technologies.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Install, commission, and maintain security and communication systems, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) Smart Surveillance Systems, Access Control, Fire Alarms, and Security Robotics Solutions
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot and rectify issues with security and communication systems
  • Provide ongoing technical support to customers
  • Conduct testing, configuration, and commissioning of security and communication systems
  • Document all work performed, including installation details, maintenance records, and troubleshooting steps
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry best practices
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments as needed
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies

 

Requirements

 

  • Proven experience as a Security Systems Technician or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Smart Surveillance Systems, Access Control, Fire Alarm, and Security Robotics Solutions
  • Strong technical skills and ability to quickly learn new technologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions
